SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Bianca Biffert's hat trick helped lead the Crusaders to defeat Graceland 5-0 on Friday afternoon.

Biffert scored the opening two goals of the game. The first came in the 22nd minute when she fired home a pass from Alyson Reinold, and the second came in the 42nd minute when she slotted home a pass from Sedona Townsend. Reinold scored the third goal of the game in the 48th minute when she fired home a free-kick from outside the 18-yard box. Ashley Ard added the scoreline when she scored a few minutes later in the 50th minute. Biffert finished out her hat trick in the 76th minute to give the Crusaders their 5-0 lead.

"We played a great match today, our ball movement was excellent and defensively we were very sound. We were able to create and finish a number of very good goal scoring opportunities. Proud of the ladies today - a great conference win," Head Coach Bruce Deaton remarked following the game. 

In all, the Crusaders had 26 shots and 15 on goal. 

Abbey Schmidt played the full game in the net for Evangel and had four saves in the game.
