FAYETTE, Mo. – A quick turnaround for the Evangel volleyball team saw Central Methodist come away with a 3-0 sweep Saturday morning in Heart volleyball action.

The Crusaders struggled on offense hitting just above .100 for the match. Heather Gahm led Evangel with 12 kills while Tori Lowry added eight kills.

Victoria Fishback tallied 28 assists as the defense was unable to keep pace with the Eagles after a solid night on Friday against Baker.

Central Methodist was led by Jane Kickham and Marija Janjusevic each with 11 kills. The Eagles tallied seven blocks as a team to help in the win.

Evangel continues road action next Tuesday at Missouri Valley. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
