SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The 'Comeback Crusaders' struck again Friday night rallying for a 3-2 win over Baker University in Heart of America Athletic Conference volleyball action.

Evangel dropped the first two sets before starting impressive rallies to dominate the final three sets. Evangel won 25-17, 25-21, 15-9 over the final three sets to finish the comeback and win its seventh match in eight games.

Heather Gahm picked up big kills when the Crusaders needed them to finish with a match-high 20 kills. Victoria Fishback paced the Crusader offense with 46 assists and 15 digs for her sixth double-double of the season.

Tori Lowry added 11 kills on the offensive side of the net while Jorden Stacey and Emma Lander led the defense. Stacey finished with 27 digs, while Lander finished with five blocks in the win.

Baker took advantage of Evangel errors to win the first two sets but was unable to keep pace with the Crusaders down the stretch. The Wildcats were led by Ashley Sparks with 20 kills, while Olivia Brees added 12 kills.
