SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel women's soccer has their late rally fall short on Senior Day Saturday with a final score of 2-1.
Graceland scored two first half goals, but Evangel was on the front foot during the majority of the second half. Unfortunately, their shots just wouldn't fall. Finally, Bailey Biffert was able to score a goal in the 89th minute off a free kick, but the Crusaders just ran out of time.
Offensively, the Crusaders had 18 shots, with 14 on goal. They were led by Bianca Biffert who had 10 shots, with seven on goal.
Defensively, Josie Gregory had three saves off five shots on goal, while Joran Stout-Mitchell had one save on one shot on goal.
What's Next
Evangel is done for the season as they were unable to make the conference tournament.
