BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Evangel volleyball team saw its three-match win streak end Tuesday night with a 3-1 setback at Baker in Heart South Division action.

The Crusaders rallied to take the second set, however, the Wildcats took advantage of miscues by Evangel in the third and fourth sets to earn the win.

Bridget Petersen led the way with 11 kills and a .321 hitting percentage as Victoria Fishback added 42 assists for Evangel. Lisabella Lemusu added 10 kills and 15 digs in the loss.

Ashley Spark paced Baker with a match-high 13 kills to help the Wildcats post a .242 hitting percentage.

Evangel returns home Friday for Senior Day to host No. 21 Central Methodist. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
