SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel volleyball team fell twice Saturday to close out action at the Crusader Classic.
The Crusaders dropped both matches, 3-0, falling to Tabor in the first match and John Brown University in the final match.
Olivia Johnston led Evangel in game one with 10 kills and 12 digs. Jorden Stacey added 16 assists while Hailey Noblitt added 17 digs.
Evangel hit .111 as a team while Tabor finished with a .248 hitting percentage.
The final match saw Evangel again struggle offensively hitting just .110 while JBU finished with a .320 hitting percentage. Johnston again led the Crusaders on offense with 12 kills and two blocks.
Victoria Fishback finished with 22 assists for the Crusaders and 12 digs to earn a double-double.
