OLATHE, Kan. – The Evangel women's tennis team saw the 2017 season come to an end Friday falling, 5-0 to nationally ranked Missouri Valley in the first round of the Heart of America Tennis Championships.

Missouri Valley was able to edge Evangel at No. 2 doubles and No. 1 doubles in a pair of close matches. The Vikings ended the Crusaders' season after wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles to claim the 5-0 win.
