EU looks to snap 4-game slide vs. Mo. Valley: Evangel looks to break a four game losing streak Wednesday as they take on Missouri Valley at the Ashcroft Center. Wednesday is Weller Elementary School Night with students, parents, teachers and administrators from the school are invited to Wednesday's game. 

The Crusaders are 6-20 and 5-13 in the Heart of America conference. Evangel is coming off of a loss on Saturday to 9th ranked William Penn 84-63. The Crusaders are one game behind the 10th and final conference tournament spot in the league race. The Crusaders trail Grand View and Culver-Stockton, who both are 6-11. The 20 losses are the most for Evangel in 20 years when they finished the 1995-96 season 9-23. 

Missouri Valley has lost three straight games and come to Springfield with a 12-14 record with a 7-11 mark in the league. The Vikings are tied for eighth in the conference standings with Baker. Missouri Valley fell to 18th ranked Peru State, 85-79, on Saturday in their last game. 

Evangel won at Missouri Valley 94-76 on Jan. 20 in the earlier meeting this season. The Crusaders lead the all-time series 62-26. The two teams played for the Heart of America tournament championship at the Ashcroft Center last year.
