Crusaders return home for Heart game vs. Baker: After two games in Colorado over the Thanksgiving holiday, the Crusaders return to the Ashcroft Center to take on Baker in a Heart of America conference game Wednesday night. 

Evangel is 1-6 and 1-1 in the conference. After picking up a league win over Grand View on Nov. 21, 72-63, the Crusaders lost to a pair of NCAA-II teams last weekend falling to 22nd ranked Colorado School of the Mines 92-75 and to Fort Lewis 93-65 in Golden, Colorado. Wednesday's game is Evangel's second home game of the season. 

Baker is 3-5 and 0-2 in the Heart of the America. The Wildcats lost twice over Thanksgiving falling at St. Gregory's (Okla.) 90-87 and to Mid-America Christian 101-96. The Wildcats have lost in conference play to Avila 66-62 and to MidAmerica Nazarene 76-71. 

Evangel leads the all-time series against Baker 45-13 and have won the last six straight meetings. The Crusaders won at Baker 61-53 on Feb. 21 last year and won the game at the Ashcroft Center 68-62 on Jan. 17. Baker's last win over Evangel was March 2, 2012 at the Ashcroft Center in the Heart of America conference tournament semifinals.
