Crusaders open home schedule Saturday: Evangel plays their first home game of 2015-16 on Saturday as they host Grand View in a Heart of America conference game at the Ashcroft Center. 

Evangel is 0-4 and 0-1 in the league after a conference-opening loss on Wednesday at Central Methodist 92-69. 

Grand View is 4-1 and 0-1 in the Heart of America after they lost 78-65 to Graceland at home on Wednesday. While Evangel is playing their first home game on Saturday, the Vikings are in their first road game of the season. 

The Vikings are in their first year in the Heart of America conference. They have played Evangel three times in their program history with the Crusaders winning all three games. They last met in the 2006-07 season when Evangel won 82-72 in Florida. The two teams also played in the 2001 NAIA-II national tournament with the Crusaders winning 73-67 in the first round of the event in Point Lookout, Mo.
