Evangel won a three set match against visiting Kansas Wesleyan at The Courts in Springfield.  Evangel got off to a slow start in the first set but rallied to take the set 25-20.  That would be the only time the Crusaders were challenged the rest of the night winning in convincing fashion 25-14, and 25-15.  Evangel was led by a balanced attack with Haley Watson recording 7 kills and Jorie Garrett and Micah Guiot with 6 kills.  Morgan Kensinger, Brandy Glessner and Jackie Fugate all had 7 blocks in the win.

Evangel will be back in action again on Saturday when they take on Oklahoma City at noon and Tabor (Kan.) at 4:00pm in the Crusader Classic at the Courts.
