Atchison Kansas, Evangel traveled to Benedictine College and won a big Heart of America match 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 25-18, 25-19) to improve to 17-5 overall and 4-1 in the HAAC.
The Crusaders junior Outside Hitter Haley Watson led the team with 13 kills and Sophomore Middle Morgan Kensinger added 10 kills. Sophomore Middle Jackie Fugate added 8 kills and a team and match high 9 blocks.
Evangel will be back in action again next Tuesday October 14th when they travel to Lamoni, Iowa to take on Graceland University. Game time is 7:30pm.
