Evangel stat leaders:
Lamoni, Iowa: Evangel started a tuff week of volleyball with a 3-1 Heart of America Conference win at Graceland University (25-19, 25-23, 15-25, 25-20) to improve to 18-5 overall and 5-1 in the HAAC.
The Crusaders spread the ball around getting 9 kills from junior Micah Guiot and 8 kills apiece from sophomores Morgan Kensinger and Jackie Fugate. Kensinger added a team high 5 blocks with junior Morgan Smith adding 26 digs. Junior Setter Maddie Baumann added 17 assists and two aces for Evangel.
Evangel will be back in action again this weekend as they travel to Des Moines, Iowa to play in the Grand View University tournament. The Crusaders first match will be #12 Missouri Baptist University at 3:00pm Friday.
