Issac Granado

Issac Granado enters his fifth season at Evangel and his fourth season as the full-time SID for Valor Athletics in 2025-26.

Granado currently oversees all sports information efforts for all 16 varsity sports at Evangel including media releases, publications, statistics, social media and staffing for Valor athletics. Granado's work has received national recognition, as his work on the 2021-22 Volleyball Media Guide was named third in the nation, while his Basketball Game Day Programs and Game Notes earned him 4th and 7th place national honors in 2022-23, respectively.

Granado led the media efforts for the postseason runs from the Football, Men's Basketball, and Softball teams in the 2023-24 seasons, as the Valor Men's Basketball squad advanced all the way to the Elite Eight, their farthest run since the 2002 national championship season.

Granado also served as the lead SID contact for the Heart of America Conference Baseball Tournament in the 2022 and 2023 seasons, as well as the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Tournament in 2025. Granado has overseen the media efforts over three Men's Basketball teams, a pair of Softball teams, and a football team that have reached the NAIA National Tournament. Issac helped lead and oversee the development of the new SIDEARM athletics webpage for Evangel over the summer of 2023 and has consistently worked on the archival of past seasons on the website.

A 2021 graduate from College of the Ozarks, he earned a degree in Communication Arts: Public Relations and minored in Social Media. He brings experience to the Evangel Athletic Department after working three years for College of the Ozarks Sports Information Office. 

During his time at Point Lookout, Missouri, Granado helped assist the eleven sports that C of O offered assisting with stats, speaking with the media, and helping the department host the NCCAA Volleyball and Cross Country National Championships.

Granado is a member of the College Sports Communicators (CSC), Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA), and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). The Marshall, Ark., native currently resides in Ozark with his wife, Caylee, and their dog, Sadie.
