Andrei Balanean moves to the Assistant Coach position for the 2025-26 season. 

Andrei moves into this role after serving as a Student Assistant the previous season. Signed to play for the 2023-24 season, he suffered a season-ending injury. He then shifted to the Student Assistant position in the spring and played briefly in 2024 before re-injuring himself. He permanently moved to the Student Assistant role over soccer operations in 2024 and was a great asset to the coaching staff with operations and with film and in-game analysis. Alongside this position, Andrei also spent time coaching club soccer with Southwest Missouri Rush Soccer Club. 

Throughout his playing career, Andrei played for many clubs around the Springfield, MO area, including Republic Soccer Club, Magic Soccer Club, Glendale High School, and Southwest Missouri Rush Soccer Club. Some of his most notable achievements include playing for Missouri ODP, being selected to the Rush National Team on two occasions, and attending Combine Academy in North Carolina.
