WICHITA, Kan. – Prior to the start of KCAC Tennis Conference Tournament play last week, Valor Men's Tennis athlete Angel Gomez and Valor Women's Tennis athlete Rachel Chaney earned KCAC All-Conference honors for their play in the spring 2026 season.
Gomez, a senior transfer from Oakland City, was named to the second team list, after earning first team honors last season, for his strong play this season.
Angel went 8-8 this season in both singles and doubles play, but went 8-5 against NAIA competitors as the Valor's #1 on the men's team.
Chaney, a senior from Jefferson City, Mo., earned honorable mention honors for her exceptional play, helping lead the Valor women to a KCAC conference tournament berth.
Rachel earned six wins this season in both singles and doubles play, serving as Evangel's #1 on the women's side, taking on the opponents best competition this season.
