KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the final edition of the Coaches Top 25 rating released on Wednesday, Valor Women's Basketball jumped a trio of spots, moving to #12 in the nation.
Evangel concluded the regular season last Saturday with a 24-2 record, going 4-0 since the last poll, taking home wins over Southwestern and Bethany as well as road wins over Oklahoma Wesleyan and Sterling. EU's lone losses this season are to Columbia, who was named the regular season champion in the American Midwest Conference (AMC), and KCAC foe and #2 seed in the conference tournament, Bethel, in overtime.
In the KCAC, Friends moved up a spot, currently at 21st in the nation.
Evangel Women's Basketball returns to action tonight, taking on the eight-seeded Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. in AGFinancial Arena for the KCAC Tournament Quarterfinals. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
