SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Basketball hits the road for a brief road trip on Saturday (Jan. 31) afternoon, taking on the Bethel College Threshers at noon in North Newton, Kansas.

Evangel is 4-0 all-time against Bethel, taking a win over the Threshers earlier in the season, 102-81.

Evangel is coming off their 16th consecutive win and 14th in KCAC play on Wednesday, defeating Ottawa in overtime, 83-76.

Cassidy Hambelton leads Evangel in assists with 103 and steals with 55 so far this year.

Heaven Shockley leads Evangel in points per game, currently averaging 14.9 with Carson Dillard just behind at 14.6. Ali Kamies and Hambelton round out double digit averages for EU, putting up 12.9 and 12.6 per contest, respectively.

Dillard is currently top 10 in three point makes in a career at EU, currently with 158 (8th), while Kamie Jenkins is eighth in blocks (80) and 14th in rebounds (657) in a career.

Shockley finished Wednesday night's game against Ottawa with five blocks, the most in a game since Allison Swanson also recorded five in January of 2016.
