SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Basketball returns home to host the Bethel College Threshers at noon on Saturday (Dec. 6) afternoon, looking to extend their winning streak to seven games.

SERIES HISTORY

Evangel is a perfect 3-0 against Bethel in their all-time matchup, taking a 82-64 win at home in February last season.

OPENING STORYLINES

• Evangel is coming off a road conference victory over Saint Mary, 104-77, using a career outing from Heaven Shockley to earn the win.

• Cassidy Hambelton leads Evangel in assists with 51 and steals with 25 so far this year.

• Evangel's high powered offense averages 91.8 points per game, hitting the century mark for the second time this year in Wednesday night's win.

• Heaven Shockley leads Evangel in points per game, currently averaging 16.8, while Ali Kamies is just behind, averaging 14.6. Carson Dillard and Hambelton round out double digit averages for EU, putting up 14.4 and 12.3 per contest, respectively.

• Bethel has opened the season with a 5-3 record, averaging 76.5 points per game, but makes one of the lowest amounts of three's in a game in the nation (3.4).

LOOKING AHEAD

Evangel competes in their final road conference matchup of 2025, taking on the Ottawa Braves in Ottawa, Kan., at 5:30 p.m. next Wednesday (Dec. 10) evening.
