Box Score

YORK, Neb. -- Evangel Women's Basketball returned home for their final 2025 matchup in AGFinancial Arena, hosting the York Panthers. The Valor dominated from the jump, scoring 38 points in the first quarter to push their way to a 113-65 win, their ninth straight and seventh consecutive in conference play.

Evangel opened Saturday on a 14-2 run, with York being unable to hit double digits in the quarter until nearly seven minutes in, as the Valor led, 24-10. Evangel continued to pass the ball around as seven different players scored in the period, led by 11 points from Ali Kamies, giving EU a 38-12 lead.

The Valor used exceptional ball movement in the second period as nine different Evangel athletes would score, led by a pair of three pointers from Emma Mullings. A layup from Heaven Shockley gave EU a 41-point lead, 57-16, with 5:15 remaining in the period. York would fight back in the quarter, going on a 16-10 run to cut into Evangel's lead, as the Valor led 67-32 at the break.

Brooklyn Kearbey, Carson Dillard, and Shockley led Evangel in the third quarter, as EU extended their lead out to 46 points. The Valor held York to just 15 points in the period, taking a 90-47 lead into the final quarter of play.

Evin Montgomery and Mae Mae Gilmore did the majority of their work in the final quarter, as Montgomery added eight and Gilmore scored six, helping the Valor cap off what was a dominant KCAC victory on Saturday, 113-65, over the York Panthers.
