SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Basketball returns home to host the York Panthers at noon on Saturday (Dec. 13) afternoon, looking to cap off 2025 on a high note at home.

Saturday also serves as Teacher Appreciation Day, where teachers and their families are eligible for discounted tickets at the box office on game day. Teachers will be entered into a drawing for Amazon gift cards at halftime of both games and must be present to win.

SERIES HISTORY

Evangel is a perfect 4-0 against York in their all-time matchup, taking a 100-64 win at home in February last season.

OPENING STORYLINES

• Evangel is coming off a road conference victory over Ottawa, 102-73, using a balanced team attack, where six different players scored in double figures.

• Cassidy Hambelton leads Evangel in assists with 71 and steals with 33 so far this year.

• Evangel's high powered offense averages 93.9 points per game, hitting the century mark for the third consecutive game last Wednesday.

Evangel hits the road to take on NCAA D-II University of Central Oklahoma on Tuesday (Dec. 16) evening at 5:30 p.m. for an exhibition matchup in Edmond, Oklahoma.
