SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Basketball concludes their road trip on Wednesday (Nov. 19) evening, taking on the Avila Eagles at 5:30 p.m. in Kansas City, Mo.

Evangel leads Avila 42-19 all-time, but took a loss on the road against the Eagles last season, 69-62.

Evangel is coming off a road conference victory over (RV) Friends, 95-88, EU's first win over the Falcons in Wichita.

Cassidy Hambelton passed off 10 assists in the win on Saturday, the first time an EU basketball player has passed off double digit assists since the 2018-19 season (Sadie Chisum).

Evangel's high powered offense averages just under triple digits, currently at 99.5 points per contest.

Carson Dillard leads Evangel in points per game, currently averaging 18.3, while Ali Kamies is just behind, averaging 16.3. Heaven Shockley and Hambelton round out double digit averages for EU, putting up 16.3 and 10 per contest, respectively.

Shockley's 20 point, nine rebound outing was paired also with eight assists in the win over Friends.

Evangel plays host to the Tabor College Bluejays, another top KCAC program, on Saturday (Nov. 22) afternoon at noon, looking to take a win in their first home conference game of the season.
