SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Basketball opens the 2025-26 season on Thursday (Oct. 30) night, taking on the Crowley's Ridge Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. in AGFinancial Arena.
Please note, all seating in AGFinancial Arena is general admission EXCEPT seats marked with a black Evangel sticker that has the name of season ticket holders. Any individual sitting in a marked seat will be asked to move to an open, unpurchased seat. Season Passes remain on sale until tip-off on Thursday (Oct. 30) evening.
SERIES HISTORY
Evangel and Crowley's Ridge will match up for the first time in program history on Thursday night.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel is coming off a 18-11 season in 2025-26, falling in the KCAC Conference Tournament Quarterfinals to Sterling College.

Evangel returns six athletes who averaged 10 minutes a game last season, led by all-conference performer Ali Kamies, who led Evangel with 13.8 points per game.

Also returning this season are all-conference performers Kamie Jenkins, Carson Dillard, and Evin Montgomery.

Newcomers for Evangel include collegiate transfers Brooklyn Kearbey (Crowley's Ridge), Cassidy Hambelton (Mission), Ka'Leah Davis (Mission), and Heaven Shockley (Mission).

Head Coach Madi Wallace begins her first season at the helm on Thursday, after three seasons spent at Mission, where Coach Wallace earned 50+ wins.

Evangel did not win their season opener last season, but took a win over JBU to open the 2023-24 season. The Valor have not won a home opener since the 2022-23 season.
LOOKING AHEAD
Evangel will host the Columbia College Cougars next Tuesday (Nov. 4) evening at 5:30 p.m. in Springfield.
