SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Men's Basketball returns home on Saturday (Feb. 1) afternoon to host the Bethel College Threshers, in search of their third consecutive win.
SERIES HISTORY
Evangel will take on Bethel in their sixth all-time matchup, as EU leads all-time, 4-1. The Valor fell earlier this season to the Threshers, 75-81, on the road.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel earned a key road win on Wednesday night, defeating Ottawa 85-82 to earn their second straight win.

Garrett Davault led Evangel's charge on Wednesday, scoring a team high 23 points, while Bryce Ware rounded out double digit scoring, putting up 17 in the win.

Davault averages a team high 16.2 points per game, the ninth highest average in the KCAC so far this season.

Seniors Josh Mason and Manrique Alvarado round out double digit scoring averages for EU at 11.5 and 10.1 ppg, respectively.

Manrique Alvarado leads the Valor with 4.7 assists per game while Garrett Davault leads the Valor with 5.1 rebounds per game. Defensively, Josh Mason leads the Valor with 1.2 steals per game while Isaac Wootton averages 0.6 blocks per game.
