SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Basketball hits the road on Wednesday (Jan. 15) evening, taking on the Avila Eagles at 5:30 p.m. to close out the two game series in Kansas City.
SERIES HISTORY
Evangel will take on Avila in their 61st all-time matchup, as Evangel leads the series, 41-18. In their last matchup with Avila, the Valor were victorious at home, 82-62. Jenkins and Evin Montgomery scored 13 points to pace the Valor in their win back in November.

Evangel defeated Bethany on Saturday, 83-76, taking their sixth consecutive conference win behind an 18 point performance from Jazzy Kirby.

Lexi Berry (16 pts.), Micah Clayton (15 pts.), Carson Dillard (12 pts.), and Ali Kamies (11 pts.) rounded out double digit scoring in Saturday's win, the first game that EU has had five players in double figures since 2022.

The Valor continued their streak of games shooting over 50 percent, shooting 55.2 percent in the win on Saturday.
