SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Men's Basketball hits the road on Wednesday (Jan. 15) evening, traveling to Kansas City, Mo., to take on the Avila Eagles, looking to avenge their loss earlier this season.

Evangel will take on Avila in their 72nd all-time matchup, as EU leads all-time, 51-20. The Valor fell at home to Avila earlier this season, 68-72.

Evangel took another win on Saturday, defeating Bethany, 97-86, in their second consecutive win.

Garrett Davault led Evangel's charge on Wednesday, scoring 23 points in the win. Both Luke Foster and Manrique Alvarado scored 16 points in the win, a career high for Foster.
