Over the final 3:54 of the quarter, the Valor would go on a 15-0 run to take a lead over the Bulldogs, led by Kate Gilbert's six points in the quarter, as EU led, 22-7, at the end of the frame.
Carson Dillard scored half of Evangel's points in the second quarter, hitting four three pointers and scoring 16 points to help lead Evangel to a 54-23 halftime lead. Despite starting the quarter off slowly, scoring just two points in the first three minutes of the period, Evangel caught fire, scoring 30 additional points in seven minutes.
The Valor outscored the Bulldogs by five points in the third quarter, continuing to add to their large lead, as they headed into the final quarter leading by 36 points.
