SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Basketball hosts the Saint Mary Spires on Wednesday (Dec. 4) evening at 5:30 p.m., as the Valor look to build off their previous comeback victory last week against Williams Baptist. Wednesday night's match will be broadcast by Mediacom22.
SERIES HISTORY
Evangel will take on Saint Mary in their third all-time matchup, as the Valor and Spires are tied all-time, 1-1. In their last matchup with Saint Mary, the Valor fell in a tight battle, 65-72.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel took a last second win last Monday against Williams Baptist in non-conference play, 86-85.

Evangel was led by junior Ali Kamies, who scored a career high 23 points, while Kamie Jenkins pulled down a team high 15 rebounds, her third consecutive game with double digit rebounds. Kamies was named the KCAC WBB Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts on Monday.

The Valor shot 53.7 percent, their highest of the season in last Monday's win over Williams Baptist.

Kamie Jenkins leads the Valor offensively so far this season, averaging 11.3 points per game, while Carson Dillard (10.9) and Ali Kamies (10.1) round out double digit scoring averages.
