SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Men's Basketball hosts the Missouri Baptist Spartans on Saturday (Nov. 30) afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in AGFinancial Arena.
SERIES HISTORY
Evangel will take on Missouri Baptist in their 25th all-time matchup, as the Valor lead all-time, 17-7. In their last matchup against Missouri Baptist, Evangel was victorious, 84-63, in their 2022-23 season opener.

Evangel was victorious in their last matchup, taking down conference foe Tabor, 91-75, on the road.

Against Tabor, the Valor were led by junior Garrett Davault, who scored 22 points, as well as Carson Cavalier (15 pts.), Josh Mason (13 pts.), and Manrique Alvarado (13 pts) who rounded out double digit scoring for Evangel.

The Valor hit 11 three pointers in the win last Saturday, their second most in a game this year.

Davault leads the Valor offensively, scoring 16.8 points per game, while Manrique Alvarado (15.0) and Josh Mason (12.0) also average double digit scoring per game.

The Valor will look to slow their opponents offenses moving forward, as opponents currently average 49.3% shooting against Evangel.
