SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Valor Men's Basketball competes in their first home game in nearly a month on Saturday (Jan. 6) afternoon, taking on a strong shooting team in the Ottawa Braves.
Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m., at the Ashcroft Center with the Valor looking to rebound after their loss earlier in the week on the road.
SERIES HISTORY
Evangel and Ottawa will match up for the first time in program history on Saturday. Both teams were former Heart of America conference members with Ottawa leaving the HAAC in the early 80's, before Evangel joined in the late 80's.

Valor Men's Basketball fell on Wednesday (Jan. 3) evening in their return to conference play to Sterling, 75-87.

Evangel's loss against Sterling was the second all-time against the Warriors, as EU still leads, 3-2. This is Evangel's second consecutive loss to Sterling.

The Valor will compete in their fourth home conference game of the season on Saturday, looking to rebound from their loss on Wednesday.
