SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Valor Men's Basketball takes on the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes on Wednesday (Jan. 31) evening, as the Valor look to earn their fourth win in the month of January.
Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m., in the Ashcroft Center, for a crucial conference matchup as the Valor look to remain in contention for a high seed in the conference tournament.
SERIES HISTORY
Evangel and Kansas Wesleyan have matched up just once, earlier this season when the Valor took a narrow one-point victory on the road in Salina, 81-80.

Evangel returns home on Wednesday (Jan. 31) evening, looking to take the season sweep over the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes after defeating them on the road by a point back in November.

Valor Men's Basketball defeated the Tabor Bluejays on Saturday on the road, 86-75.

Evangel has turned the month of January around, taking three wins in the last two weeks, after starting the month 0-4.

The Valor have had a strong offense so far this season, averaging 81.5 points per game and shooting 48.2 percent from the floor, but are allowing 78.8 points per game.

Pritchett ranks in the EU record book in several different categories. Josh currently is 2nd in Evangel history in assists (493), 4th in steals (206), 5th in scoring (1,836), 6th in blocks (73), as well as 7th in three point makes (204).

Evangel's win against Tabor was the fifth all-time in program history, as EU leads it, 5-4.

Evangel currently sits in fifth in the KCAC. With a win on Wednesday and a McPherson loss, both teams would be tied for fourth overall in conference. With a loss, Evangel would be in a tie for fifth with a pair of teams.
