ROLLA, Mo. — Evangel track and field continued its solid spring Saturday at the Dewey Allgood Invitational with personal best coming from middle distance and hurdles.
News & Notes
- Jonathan Dasal earned a top-five finish as he improved his personal best in the 800-meters. Dasal captured a time of 1:54.23.
- Matt McHenry earned a third-place finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase. McHenry's time was also a personal best, which is the second best Evangel time at 9:44.87.
- The Evangel men's 4x400-meter relay time checks in the top 10 at 3:31.13. The group of Robert Cathey, Matt McHenry, Grant Dewitt, and Dasal earned the fourth best 4x4 time in the Evangel record books.
- Andrew Matthews checked in the top five in the javelin with a mark of 158' 5" (48.30m) to finish fourth.
- Madison Proben earned a personal best in the 100-meter hurdles as her time of 16.05 was also the second-best time in the Evangel record books.
- Jaysley Cook finished in the top 10 of the high jump with a mark of 4' 9.75"
- Allison Newport continued her solid spring with a fifth-place finish in the javelin with a distance of 117' 10".
