SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel men's basketball ends their season with a loss at Central Methodist with a score of 85-78.

Evangel led at the half 45-37, but saw that lead slip away in the second half. The Eagles took the lead for good with 12 minutes left in the second half. The Crusaders were able to keep it close for a few minutes, but were unable to take back the lead.

Freshman Edriel Martinborough led all scorers with his career high 29 points. Junior Clark Brewington (13) and sophomore Chris Stocks (10) were also in double figures for the Crusaders.

Martinborough also led the Crusaders on the boards with 6 rebounds.
