Randy Rowden Training Center

On October 28, 2023, Evangel University officially broke ground on the AGFinancial Arena, a cutting-edge 70,000-square-foot sports complex designed to enhance the university's athletic offerings. This venue will be the home for Evangel’s basketball, volleyball, football, and soccer programs, providing state-of-the-art facilities for both athletes and fans.

Adjacent to the AGFinancial Arena, the Randy Rowden Training Center spans 30,000 square feet on the south side of the arena. This facility features VIP box seating with views overlooking the north end zone of Coryell Field and accommodates Evangel’s football and soccer teams. It also houses athletic director offices and operations, along with a modern strength training room, an athletic medicine hub, and a versatile 2,500-square-foot multipurpose room for various campus events and meetings.

Together, these projects signify the first major construction efforts on campus since the establishment of the Ralph M. Riggs Administration Building in 2009, marking a transformative period for Evangel University’s athletic and campus community.
