First Evangel Game - Sept. 4 vs. Graceland
History
The Nixa High School stadium was renovated in 2019 to increase its capacity from 2,500 to 4,400 home and visitor spectators. The stadium saw a newly constructed home grandstand with 3,200 new seats, a 10-room press box with restrooms and an elevator, and updated concession stands and restrooms.
When Evangel began its gridiron program in 1977, JFK was its home field through the 1988 season. From 1988 through 2000, Evangel used Plaster Stadium at Missouri State University as their home field but continued to use JFK when scheduling conflicts arose at MSU. Evangel came full circle in 2001 when Evangel returned to JFK for all of their home contests before moving to Ozark in 2016. The football program called Ozark High School home from 2016 to the fall of 2020.
