KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA announced the first round matchups for the NAIA FCS Playoffs on Sunday (Nov. 16) evening.

After earning the 18th seed in the field, Evangel will travel to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to take on the 16th seeded Saint Francis Cougars, who are coming off a 9-2 regular season, similar to Evangel.

Kickoff is set for 11:00 AM (central time) in Fort Wayne, with live stream being provided for free on Saint Francis' YouTube. Tickets can be purchased beginning tomorrow (Nov. 17) by clicking the link provided here. Live stats will be kept on Presto and can be accessed by clicking here.

A preview for the matchup between both teams will come out on Wednesday (Nov. 19) afternoon. This marks Evangel's first playoff game since the 2023 season, when they earned a first round bye and fell in the second round to Bethel (Tenn.). The Valor closed out the regular season ranked #21, jumping a spot from their previous ranking.
