Jorie Garrett Named Volleyball Assistant Coach

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Jorie Garrett was named volleyball assistant coach by head coach Mary Whitehead.

Garrett returns to the sidelines after starting for the Crusaders for the past three seasons. A native of Ava, Missouri, she played in over 438 matches and finished her career with 656 kills. She was an Honorable Mention All-Heart selection during her senior season.

A native of Ava, Missouri, Garrett earned a redshirt season under Evangel alumni Kelly Richardson at Southwest Baptist before transferring to Coffeyville Community College in 2013.

Garrett graduated from Evangel in May 2017 with a degree in psychology and a minor in sociology.
