This is the fifth of 11 editions of the Top Evangel Moments from 2016-17 as selected by an online fan vote and the Evangel sports information office.
Kensinger added her name to the top of the all-time Evangel blocks list after securing first-team All-Heart honors. She finished her career with 744 total blocks to surpass the previous record of 737 set by Brittni Harris from 2003-06.
Dunton-Moss twice broke the Evangel single-match record for digs during her senior campaign. Not since 2002 had an Evangel player recorded mored than 35 digs in a match as Dunton-Moss first set the record of 47 against College of the Ozarks on Sept. 6, 2016. She again matched her record in the first round of the Heart Postseason Tournament on Nov. 3, in a win over Clarke.
Both seniors were also standouts in the classroom as they both earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
