Dylan Bekemeier Captures Title at Evangel Spring Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel senior Dylan Bekemeier captured his first win of the spring season on Saturday to win the Evangel Spring Invitational.

Bekemeier fired back to back rounds of 70 to finish -4 for the tournament. It was the first win for Bekemeier during the Crusaders spring home tournament and first since taking first at the Evangel Fall Invite in 2016.

Jake Brown finished eighth for the Crusaders to give Evangel two top 10 finishers with rounds of 82 and 71 to finish at +9.

As a team, Evangel finished third behind Columbia College and second place Seminole State College.
